Mohammad Barani

Mohammad Barani is a visiting scientist in the High Altitude Observatory (HAO) at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). He is completing his PhD program at West Virginia University (WVU) under the supervision of Dr. Weichao Tu.

Boon Chye Low

Dr. Boon Chye Low joined HAO in 1981 and retired as Senior Scientist in 2014. His research centered on the corona & solar wind and their coupling to the solar lower-atmosphere and interior.

A recent statistical study has suggested that not all electromagnetic ion cyclotron (EMIC) waves can scatter relativistic electrons. However, knowledge of the factors that influence the EMIC wave scattering efficiency is still limited in observations.

Robert (Bob) McFadden is a consultant in the High Altitude Observatory at NCAR. Bob has been working under an NSF grant through Boston College. He has been instrumental in completing the McIntosh Archive of synoptic maps.

Junjie Chen

Junjie Chen is a scientific visitor in the High Altitude Observatory at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. His research interests include electrodynamics in the upper atmospheric.

Chih-Ting Hsu

Chih-Ting Hsu is a postdoctoral fellow in the High Altitude Observatory at NCAR. She’s mainly working on coupled upper atmosphere data assimilation.

Yeimy Rivera

Yeimy Rivera is a visiting scientist in the High Altitude Observatory (HAO) at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). She is completing her PhD program at the University of Michigan under the advisement of Dr. Enrico Landi and Dr. Susan Lepri.
