HIWIND Prepares for a New Zealand Flight in 2022

HiWIND CG1 1st lab setup for New Zealand flight mission

Project scientist, Qian Wu and the HAO engineering team are busy at CG1 1st lab preparing for the HiWIND New Zealand flight anticipated for year 2022. For the first time since the HiWIND 2018 flight, the computer was initiated and the team verified that cables, etc.

High Altitude Observatory (HAO) staff was invited by UCAR Science Education to present “Space Weather” to the public at the Little Shop of Physics 29th Annual Open House at the Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
