Azaymi Litzi Siu Tapia

Azaymi Litzi Siu Tapia is a PhD student in Solar Physics at Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research and the University of Gottingen in Germany, since August 2014. She is working with Andreas Lagg and Sami K. Solanki on the physical mechanisms responsible for driving photospheric flows in the penumbra of sunspots.

On August 21, 2017, Paul Bryans and his team of scientists will be ready to aim a spectrometer at the sun during total eclipse in an effort to detect the effect of magnetism on certain wavelengths of infrared light emitted by the corona.

Bolaji Segun is a visiting researcher to HAO working with Qian Wu using the TIEGCM community model to study equatorial ionosphere variations caused by geomagnetic activities and stratospheric warming. He received his Ph.D from the prestigious University of Ilorin, Nigeria, in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. J.O. Adeniyi, Prof. I.A.

Jiahao Zhong

Jiahao Zhong is a graduate student visitor at HAO since March 2015. He works with Wenbin Wang and Alan Burns. He is currently a Ph.D. student at University of Science and Technology of China working with Jiuhou Lei.
