Daniela is an Advanced Study Program Postdoctoral Fellow at the High Altitude Observatory, of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. She is interested in developing a better understanding of the solar chromosphere by exploring different aspects of spectroscopic emission and their relation to overlying and underlying structures in the solar atmosphere. She focuses on the spectral, temporal, and spatial evolution of the emission from quiescent conditions to more dynamic events, such as flares and eruptions, which are an important driver of space weather.
