Please use the appropriate DOIs and bibliographic references to cite any data products that are used in a public context. The DOIs for the different Hinode/SP data products are the following:

  • Level 1 Hinode/SP data: DOI: 10.5065/D6T151QF; B.W. Lites and K. Ichimoto; Collection of the Level 1 calibrated Stokes spectra (comprised by images stored in FITS format) produced by the Spectropolarimeter (SP) on board the Japanese/UK/US mission Hinode, since its launch in 2006.
  • Level 1.5 Hinode/SP data: DOI: 10.5065/D6P848Z8; B.W. Lites and K. Ichimoto; Collection of the Level 1.5 datasets (QuickLook IDL save files) produced by the Spectropolarimeter (SP) on board the Japanese/UK/US mission Hinode, since its launch in 2006.
  • Level 2 Hinode/SP data: DOI:10.5065/D6JH3J8D; B.W. Lites, J. Garcia, A.G. de Wijn, S.W. McIntosh, R. Centeno; Collection of the Level 2 datasets (obtained from the MERLIN spectral line inversion of the Level 1 calibrated spectra) from the Spectropolarimeter (SP) on board the Japanese/UK/US mission Hinode, since its launch in 2006.

Hinode has an open data policy with the following Instructions for Hinode Data Users. Users of Hinode data are asked not to infringe on the specific topics identified as Ph.D. thesis research. The standard acknowledgement for using Hinode data in publications is also here.
