Momchil Molnar
ASP Postdoc
Momchil Molnar is an Advanced Study Postdoctoral fellow residing at the High Altitude Observatory. Dr. Molnar is interested in the magnetic connectivity between the different layers of the solar atmosphere; radiative transfer computations; and comparison of high resolution models with observations. Currently, Dr. Molnar is preparing an eclipse experiment for the upcoming one in April 2024, which will try to detect faint spectral lines in the solar corona, that could be used for coronal magnetometry due to the unsaturated Hanle effect.
