CSAC Acknowledgements

It is important to us that you acknowledge the source of the data that you use in your scientific publications. Referring to our data in standard ways allows us to track data usage and calculate metrics, which in turn are vital to justifying the existence of CSAC to our sponsors, and thus ensure the best possible service to the community.

Referencing Hinode/SP data:

We have created DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) for each data Level of the Hinode/SP collection, and we encourage their use as an easy and standard way of referencing. Please use the appropriate ones for your case:

If DOIs are not your thing, please make sure to acknowledge the Community Spectropolarimetric Analysis Center (http://www2.hao.ucar.edu/csac) in any context in which the data or codes downloaded from this site are used.

For Hinode/SP Level 1 or Level 2 data, please reference the calibration paper:
"The SP_PREP Data Preparation Package for the Hinode Spectro-Polarimeter" by Lites, B. W. and Ichimoto, K. (2013SoPh..283..601L).
