MLSO Data APIThe MLSO API provides programmatic access to Mauna Loa Solar Observatory (MLSO) data via a web service API. Currently, data from the K-Coronagraph (KCor) and Upgraded COronal Multi-channel Polarimeter (UCoMP) are available, with data from additional instruments to be added in the future.
Jupyter Notebook - K-Cor + AIA CompositesAvailable to create composite images (see image at left) of AIA + K-Cor images. API and Fido are integrated into the package to download the K-Cor and AIA data for the composites automatically. K-Cor pB, pB enhanced, NRGF and NRGF enhanced images are all supported by the API tool. Authors: Mike Galloy and Yingjie Zhu.
Jupyter Notebook – UCoMP + AIA CompositesAvailable to create composite images (far left) or overlay composites (near left) of AIA + UCoMP images. Primary author: Yingjie Zhu
The FORWARD ModelThe FORWARD model is a suite of IDL and Fortran codes that calculates simulated coronal polarization signals from numerical and analytical models of the corona. It can be used to directly compare model predictions to CoMP observations.
Catalogue of MLSO/MK4 White Light CavitiesAn analysis of 98 white light cavities images by MLSO coronameters from 1998 through 2004.
K-Cor UtilitiesIDL routines for extracting quantities such as heliographic coordinates, density and brightness from K-Cor fits images.
CoMP UtilitiesA library containing routines for analyzing and visualizing various aspects of CoMP data.
